The Journey

The Journey, a Melbourne-based duo, have established themselves as a significant force in electronic music. Their sound, characterized by a poignant zest, resonates with both pioneers and casual listeners alike. They have graced stages at renowned festivals such as Rainbow Serpent Festival, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic, and Strawberry Fields Festival, and embarked on extensive tours throughout Europe in 2018, 2019, and 2022. Their studio output has been supported by various labels including Stil Vor Talent, Bedrock, and Einmusika, with remixes from industry heavyweights like Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, PARIS, CIOZ, Re.you, Rafael Cerato, and Florian Kruse. The Journey have also added their unique touch to tracks by artists such as Super Flu, Bebetta, Betoko, Sharam Jay, Luke Chable, and Quench's 1993 anthem, 'Dreams'. Their remix for Running Touch on 'My Hands' was featured in the 2019 Ministry of Sound Annual. Their remix of the iconic 'Treaty' by Yothu Yindi earned them a nomination for The Age’s Music Victoria Electronic Artist of The Year, alongside Dom Dolla, Client Liaison, Harvey Sutherland, and KLLO. Their original works, collaborations, and remixes have garnered three ARIA Club Chart #1's and numerous Beatport top 10's in their respective genres, with industry heavyweights providing support. The future promises continued success on celebrated record labels, stacked shows across the Australian summer, and potential forays into new territories.
