Techno DJ and producer Tinoko emerged in the mid-90s at private parties and raves, influenced by techno and trance music. Known for his aggressive, dark, yet danceable techno style, he organized his own parties and after-hours in courtyards around Campo de Gibraltar, Tarifa, or Canos de Meca. From the late 90s to 2000, Tinoko was a resident DJ at G-14, the only after-hours venue in the Campo de Gibraltar area. His music career continued with solo techno sets and later expanded to techno-house and minimal-techno, playing at beach bars along the Costa del Sol, Tarifa, or Canos de Meca. Tinoko has performed at popular venues such as Sala Gramola in Algeciras, Ahti, Liebe, Cafe del Mar, kubbeck, and Danzu in Tarifa, sharing bills with renowned electronic artists like Wally Lopez, Christian Varela, Angel Heredia, and Raul Pacheco. In 2005, Tinoko founded his own event promotion company, LBSM, while continuing to play at trendy venues in Tarifa such as Ahti, Liebe, Cafe del Mar, kubbeck, or Danzu. He currently performs at popular locales like OM Beach, Wave Beach Bar, Fly Monkey Tarifa, and after-hours venues like Cafe Tarifa and Bocai. Tinoko is also a resident DJ at Afrikana Beach Club and Cafe del Mar Tarifa, sharing stages with international heavyweights in the electronic music scene. Some of his Soundcloud releases include "Telsart (Original Mix)" from 2023, "Gurela (Original Mix)" from 2021, and "Mambay (Original Mix)" also from 2021. His sets and mixes can be found on platforms like La Tribu Club 1 (1/1/2025), Sirocco-Sunset Bolonia (10-07-2024), and Retro After@Tinoko (2024).
