The Roots Daughters, founded in 2009 by two dedicated soundsystem enthusiasts from Pula, Croatia, have been promoting and performing dub/roots music. After relocating to Berlin in 2013, Julie continued the mission, later joining forces with Jahminta Zulu. Inspired by Rastafari and Jamaican soundsystem culture, they share vibes, knowledge, and empower each other as passionate vinyl collectors. Their sessions showcase Reggae Music's beauty and versatility, encompassing its foundations to recent releases, while also creating a platform for female activists in the scene and paying tribute to underrepresented female artists.
